I have an isseu with Settlers 4.

I finaly got it to work on my windows 10 laptop by using the program called DXGL. But evrytime i start a game it will give some kind of static while moving the screen around in the game.

I used to have this problem with settlers 3, and i fixed it by using the settlers3setup.exe but there isnt such a thing in the settlers 4 folder.
I have already tried chaning the settings in de config map. And tried every settings combination in DXGL.

If anyone has any idea or tips how to fix this i would greatly appreciated.

I've got a similar problem, screen goes black when moving around the map.

For me switching terrain rendering to hardware/software helps (but after some time the bug reappears and I have to do it again).

Seems to be some kind of buffer problem?
If you are both using laptops, it could have something to do with the GPU the game uses... Switching it used to be able to solve some graphical problems(although they were different problems)...

Maybe check this idea out? Its a long shot, but it could lead to a permanent solution(I understand that having to switch the terrain rendering every now and then is tedious).
