Sorry, I have no solution there(I even tried contacting GOG.com on a similar issue regarding Settlers IV)...
Just wanted to say that MariokartSNES is my channel. :P So happy to see people using it!

Anyway, try to gather as much information as possible and contact GOG's support. Maybe they can try to fix this(I may contact them again in the future regarding the issue I mentioned earlier). Good luck!
I recently bought Settlers 3 from GOG, installed it, and it promptly didin't work. I get the "Three Helmets" screen and there is a very thin horizontal "window" in that screen through which I can see the game proper. I can't access anything, though. All I can do is use Task Manager to end the s3.exe process.

I'm using a Win 7/64 PC and I think I've tried all of the compatibility options.

Has anyone else had a problem like this and solved it?

I have written to GOG, but these days it is often difficult to get any help or advice from games suppliers and one has to rely on the forums.

(Steam.com is another "remote" supplier which doesn't help)
I have already found an answer to the problem I have had. All to do with Settings. It now runs as well as I remember it doing at the end of the last century. I think I am now a fan of GOG.
