I'm going to reinstall windows, and was wondering if I can back up the save data from settlers 2? Can I just copy the save folder, and then paste it back after reinstalling the game? Anyone done this successfully?

I've done it simply by saving the whole game, but the save folder should be enough. It shouldn't do any harm to have a backup of the entire folder though.
