I have currently got an unusual CTD problem with The Settlers 2, and the problem is that after about 40 minutes of play the game will CTD. Even if I save the game just before it crashes (e.g. at ~35 mins) it will CTD at the 40 minute mark.

If it helps, I am running Windows 7 32-bit, and the version of The Settlers 2 is the one from GOG.
