Hi,

two of my friends and i wanted to play Settle 3 together (over Hamachi VPN).
The funny thing iswith the "old" CD Versions which each of use still got, the Patch 1.6 and some patched EXE Files, it worked pretty good, just got a black frame on the top.

Now we decided to buy the GOG Version for the Ultimate Edition, but we cant get the Multiplayer Mode going.
No matter what tried (Starting the S3.exe or S3_multi.exe directly or in compatibility mode, or "Downgrade the old Patch 397....) we always get an error, that the Patch-Level doesnt match or if we manage to get the game to connect to the other System, the Lobby comes up empty.

Does someone knows how to get this to work?

Help or suggestions would be highly appriciated.

Use the aLobby to play: https://alobby.siedler3.net as this is the only way to play games with players using the CD and the GOG version at the same time.

All other means will fail, as the 1.60 GOG version is incompatible with the 1.60 CD version.
