Are there any walkthroughs for this? I'm getting the shit kicked out of me over and over on the 1st mission and I'm playing on easy! :(

Browse to where Settlers 3 is installed and find the "Solution" folder and click on "index.htm". Click on Settlers 3 in the centre.

Is this the Amazons or the Mission CD? You're promoting your troops to third rank and stockpiling gold, right?

At some point you are going to need to start charging me.

I haven't been upgrading my troops fully on that mission because everything I read keeps telling me to move move move which is what I did on all the other missions and was actually pretty successful. :D


PS I actually found the page that connects from that folder about 3 am this morning so I haven't tried it yet. I will. I have nothing better to do. Well I picked up S2 and S2 10th Anniversary yesterday but I hold off on those for now.

That hint page isn't very good. :p been on Amazon mission 3 for the better part of six hours following it to the letter and I'm getting my butt kicked. XD

Just had a look at that mission. That solution should work. What's getting you? It's based around sending goods to the second colony using priests. You need a mining industry in the south to smelt gold and store it, and a food and temple industry in the north to send goods to the mines in the south.

I'm running out of time. I can't get food down there fast enough. I've gotten to 76% a few times before they breakthrough but that's it. The fishing is a real no go; no matter my settings it never moves it to a storage area.

ALSO that solution says I start out with 3 iron smelters which I don't AND it tells me to set up some iron mines which I can't, there is no iron.

Maybe your building/production is being slowed from lack of carriers? I'll give the mission a go right now. :D

I just woke up to turn my downloader on anyway. I'll try again tomorrow morning.

Just won the level (On normal) in 1hr 10mins as soon as that cloud appeared and cleared the snow! It's winnable :D
Make sure you have enough carriers with a medium residence in the north, I added a small one in the south. You also need to mess with the sliders and priorities and such to make sure they are moving the important goods. I had six beehives (aaarrrggghhhhh the buzzing), two meadmakers, four small temples, three grain farms, two water works, one mill, two bakeries, two fishermans huts. In the south I had two gold smelters and three storage wards and about four of each mine. It was a really tight mission.
