Hi Mates,
do you know how to push soldiers from one storehouse/headquarter to another?
In my case, I have one storehouse where I have soldiers. In that building, I clicked "take out" option for each soldier type. Then, first soldier came out, went to the storehouse's flag, and went back inside... and such circle repeats, over and over.

Is this a bug or did I miss something? Of course, the storehouses are connected with each other (no boat ways in between). I would appreciate if you could help me out with this.

Take care.
Jakub

I've run into this problem as well. It seems the only way you can move a soldier out of the Headquarters is when a new military building is made.
With a new storehouse I think if you stop storing all the swords/shields/beer at the main HQ they will be sent to the storehouse. This kicks off the same recruiting sequence and once you have soldiers IN the storehouse they behave the same as HQ ones,
I think you need to create new soldiers in each storage area, HQ or Storehouse. They don't seem to be interchangeable.

To do this isn't that complicated.

If you are pushing soldiers from HQ to a storehouse (or vice versa) then just tell the HQ to send out and block incoming soldiers of that strength. They will have nowhere to go except the storehouse you want.

A more complicated but ultimately most efficient way to use soldiers:

Only let privates be allowed in HQ. All others go to a storehouse but no privates.
When building military buildings disconnect them immediately from roads once occupied otherwise it could be a waste of soldiers or coins.

Now have 1 watchtower close to your HQ which is still connected and receives gold. In the military tab set the inland amount of soldiers to highest and that tower should fill up with privates from the HQ. note, you also want the setting, 2nd option, which dictates what strength soldiers are sent out to be minimum.

I like to have the watchtower window open in the corner with the military window under it. as the soldiers upgrade they train the ones under them by 1 level as well (efficient use of gold). when the highest soldier becomes fully advanced (general) use the military window and tell the inland buildings to have 1 less soldier. So what will happen is the strongest soldier in your watchtower will go out, but cant go to your HQ, so he will go to your storehouse. The moment he is out set the inland soldier bar to full again so that a new private leaves the HQ and goes to the watchtower.

In this way you have all your gold being used in one building in the most effective way. you have your weakest soldiers in your HQ and your strongest in your storehouse on the border.

The most important thing to remember is to disconnect all your military buildings inland except that 1 watchtower.

Vini Vedi Vici

PS: make sure to only allow beer and weapons in the HQ cause that is where you want to recruit new privates.
Gotta love such convoluted ways of managing the military. Good rundown there, thanks for sharing!

It happens in 2 situations :
- when you create 2 harbors on the same continents and want to send your soldiers on another island. They will cross the continent between the harbors, unable to understand where to stay. DON'T BUILD 2 HARBORS ON THE SAME CONTINENT.
- when all your HQ / storehouses / harbors have "take out" and "blocked", so your soldiers have nowhere to go and stay where they are.
First of all, be sure that your HQ and all your storehouses, harbors can accept them (take in and accept), no matter their rank. Then, click on "take out" and "blocked" for the place you want they leave, so they will go to another place.
