After Bluebyte updated all Settlers series to HD standard, will we also receive those versions?

Risking of sounding oblivious: which settlers games have received HD updates? I don't know of any to be honest. I think Bluebyte is currently making a new Settlers game, but it does look more like a reboot rather than a remake.

They're meant to be Uplay exclusives, at least for now.
Oh sorry I didn't say it accuretely. I meant that Bluebyte made The Settlers History Collection in which they reworked resolutions and they added 1080p standard

Out of curiosity, where did you get the information that those games in the History Collection are in 1080p? I can't find any information on that. I've looked up a few videos on YouTube where this collection was being tested; the games looked exactly as pixelated as I remember them. It seems to me that the games are just repackaged such that they will run on a modern Windows system.

Plokite_Wolf is right: this collection is Uplay exclusive. At least for now, but I don't think that we here would benefit much from it. The only Settlers game missing on gog is the very first one (and that wasn't very good anyway; the sequel to that was much improved).

The resolution cap was unlocked, that's what the "1080p" is all about.

And the expansions to 5. And the entirety of 6 and 7. And the expansion to Settlers II: 10th Anniversary Edition that was released only in select countries :P

Not really

Does anyone have a list of what actually changed in History Collection? Because such remasters have a habit of fixing some stuff and breaking something else in the process.

Thank you for your clarification. My mistake. I didn't find it on Ubisoft's website. It would be nice to get that collection here on gog. Haven't played Settlers 7 (I completely forgot that it actually existed, thank you for reminding me).
