Hi guys, I was really hoping to find out how I can disable some of the in-game messages like Your geologist has found coal. Or This would be a nice spot for a coal mine.

After playing this game on and off for a year I am really sick of these nuisance messages. Is there any way to turn them off? Naturally I would like to keep useful messages like "This mine has run out of minerals", or when a new tool is needed. Thanks.

Run the "SETUPS3.EXE" in the game folder and reduce the notification level by exactly two steps - this should do it :)
