Hi.
On 3rd map I've settled on remote island and made it a farm land. But after building 8 farms builders no longer move to New building sites. Problem is actually with all buildings. There are some places where it still works, but it is called strategic game for a reason: some places are just better.
On mainland all seems to work fine. All sites have road connections.

Which game exactly? There are lot of settler games and this forum is combined for all of them.

"Road connections". I think you are talking about The Settlers II, or Settlers II 10th Anniversary.
There is a bug sometimes, that some workers stay in the harbor and don't want to swim on another island.

The solution for that problem would be sending these workers (builders) temporarily to another storehouse or the HQ, and then back to the harbor. I learned it from others while playing multiplayer (via GameRanger).
