Has anyone managed to make this game work on their Steam Deck, or in SteamOS in general?

I own this already this on Origin but could never get it to work on the laptop. Took a punt on this through GOG and it's working on the steam deck through Heroic. It has borders on the hy left and right side but need to look into sorting this through the config, if possible.


EDIT: be warned, the performance isn't brilliant, stuttering a bit but that may be because I've installed to sd card. Also play the first mission and then find the config.Ini file in the saved game folder. You can amend the resolution to 1280x800 and increase the draw distance etc.

Thanks so much for your reply. I'm very tempted to buy it now. Doesn't seem like it's on sale right now even though it's a huge sale event right now. I wonder if it ever goes on sale hahah
