Hello! After upgrading my laptop I've got some unpleasant performance issues. At a random moment, it starts freezing and stuttering. That lasts for a couple of seconds, to happen again within a minute. I have a Core i7-12th gen CPU, that features 12 cores/16 threads. Given that Saboteur has problems with getting along the CPUs with 4+cores, I thought that this is my case. But as I acknowledged from earlier posts, if there is a problem with multi-core processors, the game would rather not start at all.

This problem is surely related to game compatibility, as my laptop can run smoothly way more resource-intensive games. At the moment when these freezes happen, the GPU load curve starts looking like a handsaw blade, and the CPU load peaks at 100%. While the framerate is stable, the processor load is barely above 30%.

I'd appreciate any advice that can possibly help me to play this platinum game.
Don't know if this is still relevant, but it might be related to the Performance and Efficiency cores on intel 12th gen which has caused problems with older types of drm (should not be a problem since the game is drm free on GOG). If you want to you could try if that is the problem by disabling the efficiency cores in the bios if possible. Also which RTX GPU are you running? It runs fine for me on an RTX 2080 TI.
