Watching videos of the game it lookis like you need some pointers so you dont get lost.
Also stuff in the game says t1 but i reckon it should say tier 1 as the creator of the video called it. I reckon it being a bit clearer makes sense.

Do you mean pointers as in a tutorial on how to play the game or waypoints on the map to aid navigation?

I ment waypoints on the map i don't remember them being on the video.

You can later build Beacons which will display a coloured hex on your HUD. The colour is configurable per beacon.

Cheapest way right from the beginning of the game is windmills. For a bit more you can build outdoor lights that make it really easy to navigate after dark. Just use them as breadcrumbs.

No they don't show up on the map (I don't think so, anyway) but by the time you can launch GPS rockets, do you still need the map at all? I was so underwhelmed by the first GPS satellite that I never bothered with the others.
