I second the request for the Moons patch. Was really looking forward to play with my mom who owns the game via steam, only to find out I can't because my version is behind.

Was thinking of purchasing this. Are updates released on GOG usually slower than steam? Wondering if I should get here or just purcnase over on Steam.

Somewhat slower. They do eventually arrive here though.
Speaking of which / as a matter of fact - just today GOG's version got updated to v1.526 - same as on steam.
