I suggest that developers instead of constantly decreasing the three indicators (oxygen, hunger and thirst) use a variable decrease depending on the activity of the protagonist. When immobile, they will decrease extremely slowly. While moving with a jetpack, the speed will be faster, while walking even more. They will decrease fastest when running and fastest when jumping. Moreover, the difference between the minimum and maximum costs can be made tenfold. So that it does not work out that running through the mountains with a full backpack of mining ore the player spends as much energy as it spends while lying on the base in bed.
