I have no sound in video sequences. I tried to disable the "high resolution videos" option but it didn't work.

Any ideas? Thanks.

The settings tool (Start > Programs > GOG.com > The Night of the Rabbit > Settings) has an option for video volume. Possibly your volume is set to zero.

It´s a bug, they are triying to get a solution but they said that maybe is a Windows XP bug (It happened the same to me, and I have all the volume settings fine, in fact this only happen with Night, not with Deponia for example).
I read in Steam forums the same, it's a bug and Daedalic will fix it with a patch.

Thanks for the answers.

So, it's now October and still no video sound in XP... Takes long to prepare these patches, now doesn't it ;) (or to distribute them on GOG?).

Anyway, for those affected by the problem: while not an ideal solution, you can view the videos outside the game later, with sound. All the files in videos/ subdirectory in the installation dir are actually Matroska .mkv videos; you can just add .mkv to a file name temporarily and play it in a regular video player. Note, though, that the videos have 2 audio tracks: english and german, so you will need to use a video player that can select one.
Try to complain in the Daedalic forums, might speed things up

Well, given that they already have a topic about it on the first page (at least in english, there's some "audio problems" in german as well), I somehow feel it won't help a whole lot ;)

Also, having finished the game already, it's not that big of a deal for me anyway.
I confirm that the new patch fixes the problem. Thanks Daedalic... I guess :)
