Whenever I start "The Mystery of The Druids", it gives me this start up message:

Error in the module graphics []
-> DirectDraw init failed. Code (8876024e)

Anyone know of any way to fix it?

I've checked the PCGamingWiki, and it tells me to use the Cougar Setup Utility, but I have absolutely no idea how that program works, let alone works at all for me?

Anyone know anything?

Did you ever fix this? I'm getting the same error and this is literally the only post online I could find with this exact problem

I'm getting the same error message but I can't find a solution (I did install the June 10th dxdraw files).

Here is everything I've tried so far:

I installed then uninstalled and reinstalled the game but still got, "error in module graphics direct draw init failed code 8876024e"

I installed June 2010 DirectX but it didn't help. I still got the same error message.

I installed TMOTD on my F and then uninstalled it and then reinstalled it on my C drive. Still got the same error message.

I tried the Cougar Setup Utility and ran the CCONFIG.EXE file but it didn't do any good. Same error message. The Cougar instructions said to, "For Resolution mode, choose the 32bpp option if not already selected." but that mode was no available to choose.

Sorry. Forgot to mention that I have Win 10 Pro.
