Are there any plans for Linux support? I'm a sucker for a good metroidvania, but I was a bit disappointed to see this game doesn't have a Linux version.

If there aren't plans, has anyone tried it under wine? I googled around but I didn't find any information on it.

I believe it's a unity based game so it might even be possible to get it running natively following this: https://www.gamingonlinux.com/wiki/Unity_Games_Working_On_Linux_(User_Ported)#Porting_a_Windows_or_Mac_game

I can try this and WINE later today once I'm off the clock and am not too tired, or over the weekend if you don't mind waiting =)
Sounds great, thank you!

I'm also trying out that link. I do have a couple of Unity windows games and I think it'd be neat to user port them to Linux. So either way, thank you for the interesting link.

Well, here's what I got:
The linux port I got running and can hear music playing on a pink screen and can't do anything
This probably means we're missing an .so file equivalent plugins to one of the DLL files (I assume it's the Black_pc.dll file as I could not find an .so alternative)

as for WINE, I could get to the "Press any button" prompt but the game didn't display the title graphic and several text elements were broken, and I couldn't get past that screen, so I can assume it's not playing nicely with WINE.

If anyone wants to test the Linux port you can grab the necessary linux files here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=177xMC2NVnIJuGBXQBrTF3crFaaXQUunl (contains 32 and 64bit executable binaries and .so files for mono and plugins, no actual game data)
Thank you for your time. I'll keep it on my wishlist then and see how things develop, then. I'm somewhat surprised WINE has troubles with it, currently. With Iconoclasts and plenty of other Metroidvanias out there, I think I'll be fine without The Mummy Demastered for now.
