Just a heads up for anyone with 16:10 monitors:
The game runs at a maximum of 1080p. If you have a 16:10 aspect ratio monitor, say 1920x1200 the game will resize and "over flow" across your screen, so screen space to the left and right of the camera is slightly cut off. Some rooms in the game are then just out of view and it looks like nothing is there. Spent a few hours looking for an item just cause I couldn't see the room I needed to go in this way.
Solution that worked for me was to switch full screen to windowed mode and back to full screen. The game then correctly displays 16:9 aspect with top and bottom black bars on a 16:10 display then.
Hope this helps anyone who is stuck looking for that one item needed to progress the game :D
