Hi! I bought Doomdark's Revenge and have noticed oddities in the battles I've fought so far. One, at least, definitely seemed like a glitch.
*None of my lords have slain any enemy troops.
*I stacked three barbarian lords under Luxor and attacked the Fortress of Firak, hoping it would start creating troops Luxor could recruit; each round only one Lord's troops would fight, seemingly switching each day (the rest of the lords armies didn't kill or lose any troops). Eventually the Fortress ran out of men, but it remained the property of Firak even after a round of fighting the non-existant remaining troops (who were referred to as "Free" rather than barbarians at that point. I had another battle (mentioned below) where it said everyone was fighting but something even stranger occured.
*I was attacked by a Fey lord named Imgormand whose soldiers seem immortal; the report of battle each day said my men killed some but his army has twelve hundred, two score and fifteen each day when I check on it.

Has anyone else had any of these occur?

There are, unfortunately, many small bugs in the current release - ranging from more "cosmetic" inconsistencies in the display of texts, graphical presentation etc. to more severe gameplay-issues in the battle system, recruitement and in the movement of the characters... after a few hours of playing, I'm really disappointed by the current situation with this game (and even thinking about changing my verdict to only three stars). It's like a beta version to me, and I don't like to hunt bugs in a full release version of a game. Not at all. I simply cannot understand how one can overlook all these issues while testing the game. I'll wait for the update on this one and/or play along with the Speccy-version again.

Version 1.2 fixes a number of issues. Version 1.3 fixes the rest.

I can assure you, that NO ONE is more disappointed than me. It appears that most of the testing was focused on the game working and playing, and NOT in comparing it to the original. Hopefully all issues are now resolved with the release of version 1.3.
