I'll probably end up getting it on Steam where it does routinely go on sale, but it's a shame as I would rather have the trilogy on the same storefront.

Even now, there's a promo event it's flagged in, but not on sale. I have it on Steam, would rather GoG but never going to happen for.... reasons?

Well it has been on sale a couple of times at least, like now, which is why I finally bought it ... cheap enough.

What I am confused about though, is the soundtrack, and the game page url, which mentions season pass.

Seemingly you could take it that the soundtrack is included, as there certainly is some kind of soundtrack included, but the separate listed soundtrack requires the Final Cut version, so I ain't sure what that means.

There is some mention of extra music, so maybe they are talking two different soundtracks?

Adding the soundtrack to the cart, doesn't show any warning either, so I am guessing it isn't included.

Anyway, at the current price for the soundtrack, I certainly ain't gonna buy it or take any risk.

Yeah, that's a bit ambigous. What is included with the game purchase is only a part of the whole soundtrack - the one that covers Book 1 to be exact (and Book 1 comprises the Prologue, Chapters 1&2 and the first Interlude). The standalone soundtrack purchase provides you the full soundtrack from all the Books/Chapters within the game. Thankfully, there are always refunds! GOG is sometimes even too eager to issue those.

I wasn't counting on it being the full soundtrack when I bought the final cut, so no need for a refund based on that.

For me to buy the full soundtrack now though, it will need to be dirt cheap ... so much cheaper.
