I'm in the police station 1st time. I'm supposed to get the workers out of the way to get the screwdriver. No matter how many times I try nor the length of time I wait, the screwdriver never shows up!! Anybody have an idea what I'm missing or what I should or shouldn't do?????

I had to leave and return later, when the screwdriver was actually needed (it's not far), as it wouldn't be there before. Just take care of the workers and ignore the screwdriver until April says she needs one, then you should be able to get back and pick it up.
