This is an issue I reported back in the alpha (or beta, I don't know anymore). When I click on the game in my library (via GOG Galaxy) it shows me a big blue "Connect Now" button that proceeds to ask me for a code. If I click on the "More" tab the "Configure" and "Get backup & extras" options are greyed out. I am consequently unable to update Dreamfall with Galaxy.

Make sure you're logged in, then click here to refresh your games library: https://www.gog.com/user/refresh
Close Galaxy, then re-open it - it should no longer say "Not yet available" or show you the "Connect now" button.

Note: It may take half an hour or so after clicking that link before it works correctly via Galaxy or it might just be there was previously an issue with Galaxy when I first tried it earlier today.

Either way, I can confirm (at least a little while after refreshing your library) it now lets you install the game via Galaxy, therefore if you import a folder where you've already installed the game I assume it should update it for you.

I've done that. However, the Connect Now button still shows up. It doesn't say Not Available anymore though. If I try to import the game it pops up with Not Authorized. So no luck getting it going there either. :(

How long have you left it since clicking the refresh link? It took something like 30 minutes to an hour before it started working properly on Galaxy too, so I'm guessing it will for everyone based on what you said (it updated the links on the GOG website and for GOG Downloader instantly however).

Well, I just checked it again and it appears to be doing what it's supposed to now. So.. some updated instantly and other parts there was a bit of a delay. I'm currently importing the game into galaxy and we'll see what happens after that. :)

As you said, it takes a while but it worked out in the end. Thanks!

Don't really understand what's going on. It said that Dreamfall Chapters was unavailable in Galaxy, so I followed your instructions and it became available. I have Book 2 already installed and completed. So I tried to import folder and it said "Not Authorized". So then I tried to install and it said "Checking local files". It took a few seconds to do this and then started installing. Only thing is it is installing 9.8GB. Why is it doing this if the local content is there, apart from Book 3? Surely Book 3 isn't that big?

I backed up the game's folder beforehand, just in case, as I've heard reports of games getting completely overwritten with Galaxy.

Any ideas what's going on? I'll leave it installing and see if it's wiped my saves.

Regarding gogalaxy waiting about an hour, after you say that you can install it.
You can safely delete the second book, in fact, the third update of the book is not added ... basically if you download the book 3, you find yourself also book 1 and 2.

For saved unless you delete them should not be a problem.
Seems to be working fine.

Seems that unlike with The Witcher 3, for example it's not downloading an incremental patch but rather a completely new full install package.

I'm assuming GOG ended up doing this because unlike the last release all lanaguages were not available at the time of the launch of book 3 - or possibly to fix an error with purchases where it said the purchased language was "Deutsch" then didn't give you the option to select any other language on the GOG website, even though you purchased an English copy of the game etc. (which I'm guessing they weren't able to fix without removing the associated packages then re-adding them again).

Hopefully when book 4 is released, it'll just be a galaxy compatible patch next time instead of a complete re-download of the entire game.

Do an import rather than install. It will still download the 9.8GB however.. but that should take care of you having more than one install on your system as well as your save games I'd imagine.
I followed the instructions and it showed the "Connect Now" button. Now it's asking for a code. What code? I have a purchase order number, that's all. Also, when I try to "install" it pops a message saying looking for file, then kick me out of the install process. I tried to import the file from the folder, but it still kicks me out.

It's amusing that you quote my post, yet didn't really read it. It wouldn't let me do an import.

Did you use the refresh account link that was posted earlier in this thread?

If you didn't.. go do that.. wait 30mins.. and try relogging into galaxy. I don't know why we're being forced to force the site to update.. but that appears to be the only method available to us to fix the problem. :)

Again... In my original post I did say I followed MrBMT's instructions. But thank you for trying to help.
