So, I have Origin and I installed from it Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun, an older C&C game. I also have installed The Longest Journey from GoG.

No matter which icon I click for Tiberian Sun (the shortcut link, the TSLauncher.exe, or the Game.exe), my computer launches The Longest Journey. If I uninstall The Longest Journey, it works fine. I reinstalled The Longest Journey, and I can't launch Tiberian Sun again (all of its icons/exe files launch the LJ's launcher).

The shortcut properties on the Tiberian Sun are correctly pointed. The Longest Journey's shortcuts are correct. They're installed on the same drive, but different directories.

Has anyone else ever had this happen? I'd like to have both games installed at once, though if it's not possible, it's not possible.

Inside your TLJ folder there is an executable called TLJRegFix.exe, run it and configure it to your installation.

Thank you, I just had the exact same thing happen and I'm glad somewhere out there someone else already had, and solved, the problem.

Glad to hear I wasn't the only one experiencing this problem. Unfortunately, running the registry fix app in "The Longest Journey" didn't resolve the issue (even after a fresh reinstall of C&C TS/FS and reboot). Having decided in favour of Tiberian Sun between the two games, I deleted "The Longest Journey" and TS/FS ran seamlessly.
