charles82: Is it showing up in a small box on the screen?
You need to find the options in your video card driver for "scaling". It should be set to scale, preferably maintaining aspect ratio. This will allow the image to be stretched to fit the whole screen.
The instructions on how to do this differ between AMD & NVidia. I'm sure you can find the instructions on Google (at least for the English version) or tell us what graphics card you have and maybe somebody can help here too.
I have only an Intel HD graphic chip on my business notebook. but in my freetime I use it for playing sometimes ;)
(I have an XP notebook too). Sure, no fast 3D games. But Wings remastered is working well , for example.
At the graphic options is noted: keep the scale

https://www.gog.com/forum/the_longest_journeydreamfall_series/anti_aliasing/post57 I've played through first chapter this way and it seems nice. Artifacts like pixel trails are not very noticeable. Just try it and decide if that's how you want to play.
I can try this, later. But I have not understand correctly. Is the larger scale fine or not?
