Yes. Stop using Galaxy. The .exe is a compressed file of just about 7.5 GB. :(

Reinstalling the last build without the patch fixed save game loading for me as well. Now for a working patch...

Mine also tries to re-d/l a 15 gig patch almost every tie I start gog galaxy. :-s

I had the same problem. It can be fixed. In Galaxy enter the game's page. Click the More button and choose configure. The page is not available while an update is going on. So either abort any update or let it finish its download. Now you should be able to set "Install updates" to manually. This of course only makes Dreamfall Chapters manually update. So any other game won't be affected.

The game updated to 4.1.1 three times here but it was not 16gb here. At least the last two times were not. It was more like 8gb.

I disabled automatic updating for the game just in case it starts doing it again.
