Hello! I've been playing FC for a few days using the keyboard or the controller (switching off) and have had no issues. Today, when I booted my PC I wasn't able to start the game at all. I restarted my PC, still no load.

Finally, I managed to load by hitting 'start game' from the configuration tool (either normal or DX8). However, when loading that way, my party is in 'sprint' or 'run' mode all the time, regardless of whether I hit the run button. I have already made sure that the default movement toggle is set to walk, and I even changed it to run to see if my pad was messed up. No effect--Estelle sprints constantly.

If I unplug the controller, she's back to walking like usual.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you!

Well, I kind of solved it. For some reason, I now have to uncheck the 'analog controller' option in the configuration menu. No idea why it was working before but now is giving me grief, but there it is, in case anyone has the same issue.
