While playing Trails in the Sky 3 the game will crash to desktop with no error message when the chapter 4 boss attacks. I saw a post that someone said it is common and to put the game on Directx8 to get past it, but I have no option to run it that way that I can see.

Edit: Going to the directory the game was installed in and running the other config file fixed it. Leaving post in case others hitting same issue as it appears to be very common on newer systems at least per what I see on other forums.
