There has been two patches recently (as in August 2017 recently) for The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky (the only game in the franchise I have right now. I want to finish it before getting the other ones (or wait for a discount)) and we still got no changelogs for either of them. The most recent changelog is from December 2016.

And (if my memory serves me right), both patches were over 100 MB and seeing that this game is the one that existed since 2004 (and then was updated for current computers), I'm really curious as to the changes of those patches.

Oh thats good, I 'm not the only one who noticed this haha. It would be nice to have the changelog. i did notice that the game now has cloud saving now on gog, which is awesome.
I've just finished Trails in the Sky:FC (First Chapter) recently with the new August 2017 installer utilizing a save from an older version from December last year. The major noticeable difference is the introduction of Turbo mode.

I tried looking for a changelog, but the best I could find is the blog of the programmer talking about some of those new changes: http://xseedgames.tumblr.com/post/164080113020/trails-in-the-sky-programming-blog

Turbo mode is pretty awesome, hold 'Alt" to accelerate time (has 2 speed settings for inside & outside of battle). Very handy if you want to get through a lot of easy battles very quickly.
I just noticed this too when I went to check on my games. I was going to post about it but got my answers here. Thanks!
