As per ScarletEmerald's review:

The biggest issue I have with this game is the gameplay. While the day phase involves frantic scheduling of actions to deal with incoming patients, the night phase involves a lot of player downtime as you sit and watch the characters s-l-o-w-l-y carry bodies from one station to another. I've heard that this has been fixed in a couple of patches on the Steam version, but these have yet to make their way to GOG.

According to Steam the most recent update was Patch #5 in April of 2024.

The version on GOG appears to be prior to Patch #1 which goes back to November of 2023. Added in that patch was a 4th cart to store each variation of the vials. Without it it's senseless to upgrade to the Superior Drips.

The GOG version is nearly 2 years out of date.
