I was going to ask for this post to be deleted, but I definitely would like them to have support for this game on win7.

Win7 is dead, no longer supported by Microsoft and slated to become a virus/malware fest...! Hard to understand people not upgrading to Win10, at least, as it still has a couple of years of support left. I'm on Win11 and so far it's very nice, I'm glad to say. Been on various builds of Win11 since last July a year ago. was on Win10 for years earlier--it's nothing like Win8, if that's what you're thinking. Win8 was a bizarre move for Microsoft right after their smash success with Win7.

Upgrades these days are fairly cheap, so I would advise you to at least go to Win10 as soon as you can swing it. Win7 was great in its day--in fact, Win7 when introduced was by far the best OS from Microsoft to date. But Win10 clobbers it in every way. But you may have older hardware and an older CPU that isn't supported under Win10, I don't know.

Well, that's my advice, for what it's worth...;)

If your laptop does not support Win10 or Win11, it may still be viable to keep it, but to install Linux on it. If the GPU is still decent, you' d be surprised how many games will happily run on Wine ( a set of Linux libraries providing the functions that programs require on Windows ), or the more game-specialised wrappers PlayOnLinux and Lutris and of course the Proton system by GOG's competitor Valve. Just give it a try before you discard an old laptop. Especially the older, less demanding games might still run.
Check winehq.org for Wine compatibilty and playonlinux.com for specifics for that wrapper.
Hmmm. Any idea why I can't post on this shitshow of a website...?
...apparently it might have something to do with 'bad words' (aww, baby's mouth go poo-poo) while I'm voicing my discontent on windows-related idiocy.

Game requieres DX12.Long dead Win7 does not support DX12, so no, no support for obsolete Win 7.

As mentioned earlier use your prefered Linux distribution and Wine or Valve's fork of Wine - Proton.
There is a Win7 fix for The Invincible and it works quite well.

The monthly Win7 security (and other) updates via UpdatePack7 are the best/easiest way to keep it secure and running well. No complaints here, last update was 2024.3.13.

VxKex is great for getting for getting Win7 compatibility back from the devs who have dropped it.
