While playing, the game occasionally decides to get into a state where moving the mouse to the top or the bottom of the screen does nothing. While in it, I can't initiate dialogue (the character says the intro but I can't choose any topics).
This can happen as soon as starting the game, or after playing for a while.
It doesn't depend on whether it's full screen or windowed.

Has anyone encountered this? How do you fix it?
