Hi,

I've been trying to figure out a way to force "true" windowed in Return of the Incredible Machine: Contraptions. Currently, turning fullscreen off just makes it shrink the game window and apply a tiled pattern around the edge (but the game is still technically in fullscreen). I tend to like running my games in windowed mode so my desktop is easily accessible, so it certainly doesn't help that the only viewing modes is fullscreen and mostly fullscreen! Is there any way I can force it to run in a window or do I just need to play in fullscreen?

"Centers 800x600 game screen in center of screen, fills all other unused space on same monitor with a tiling background." - http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Return_of_the_Incredible_Machine:_Contraptions#Video_settings

I edited the CONTRAPTIONS.INI file in the game's install folder with the following values:

[Database]
LastUser=Contraptions.sav

[WinInfo]
ChildX=100
ChildY=100
ChildW=800
ChildH=600
MainFullScreen=0
ChildFullscreen=0
AppFullscreen=0

and that works for me
