Hi! Programmer of The Glitch Fairy here.

I plan to add Achievements in the near future (almost done just need to figure out a little bugs or two)

Also if you have any problems or comments feel free to write here or come in our discord!

Edit: The Glitch Fairy now has 44 achievements on GoG!

Now's the perfect time to go out on a Glitchin' adventure with Monie!

I was wondering, is it very difficult to upload demos to GOG?

You may wonder why I bother with demos given GOG's refund policy. Well, I am currently doing a completionist run of "Sunblaze" and thus I may not get around to playing this game for another month if I buy it now.

I have had to pass up on games because of this. (e.g. You can find a forum post of mine requesting a demo of "The Axis Unseen".)

This is a good question!

I will contact the gog team and try my best to add a demo!

Thank you, I just finished an achievement that requires a lot of practice to pull off. I will refrain from starting the next challenge till I read back from you so I can give you my feedback as soon as possible.

It's nice to see developers on the GOG forums. It's not that it doesn't happen but you never quite know if the developer is looking or not if there's no activity yet.
It has been about 3 weeks now. Is there an update on the situation?

Secondly, if you are having trouble with checking these forums. I made this on the wishlist since I often had no idea if developers were even aware of my posts on the GOG forums. https://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/email_notifications_optional_for_developers_so_they_are_notified_of_forum_activity

Finally, given that you mentioned GOG achievements. Were you aware of this given that you already seem to have the Steam achievements working?

First of all, thank you for the demo.

Would you prefer me to give first impressions here or as a review on the demo's storefront?
I'll list it over here given what I encountered when I booted up the demo for the second time.

What is the correct way of exiting the application? The first time I played the demo I had to leave so I clicked the window away during the zone after the deity with the falling boulders. When I returned to the save file I was greeted by a black window.

Is there a way to leave the zone?

That's the main thing.

Two minor things.

1. It might help if the control scheme was somewhere in Monie's house or hometown. I'm not accustomed to the controls yet and I had trouble recalling how to leave menus.
2. The menu for Monie's loot requires you to recall a button, that I figured out through trial and error as I had already forgotten it by the time that I had cleared the in-game tutorial, but when I then went to the shop there was a "QUIT" button?

May I recommend calling the "Dash" "Twirlwind" instead? (You don't have to, by the way, but I will call it that in the review of the demo, and hopefully full game, to differentiate it from the dash ability that people may be accustomed to once I know that these issues are no longer a thing.)

NeverwinterKnight:
thank you for all your feedback and sorry for the long wait! Gonna note all that and this time answer more quickly!

Also,

I'll work on finishing up "Sunblaze" while I wait for the answers.

P.S. You might want to consider making that announcement regarding the achievements bold so that it doesn't get lost as easily for people scrolling through this thread. (The B to your left while writing your comment so it looks like this.)

Either that and/or editing your first post.

good idea about the edit in the first post

also about the demo black screen, I can't seem to replicate the bug sadly.
I will continue to investigate it and yeah making a little sigh showing the basic control in the house or in the village would be a great idea.

Im gonna add in in a future upcoming patch!
Thanks a lot for the feedback and help!
It's good if I'm the exception and not the rule. I'm currently working on the last achievement. I'll check out some stuff once I'm done.
I finished "Sunblaze".

So I bought the full game to test for the glitch and it does not give me the same error when loading saves like it does in the demo. (The black screen now goes away.)
