the game launches and i heard the character walking/firing but the screen remains blacks in all resolutions... (i only see the cursor moving)
i see the menu correctly but just not the game itself
if anyone knows what to do ?

Late reply but dev made a comment about this over on steam and is aware of all the issues on native, proton and mac.
He said he would try to fix it after their other game was released but it was not easy to just do, this was 2 yrs ago and still no fix and the game is out;(
Hope they will take a look at it since its affecting everyone.

Here is what dev comment to try for those with black screen issues:

Please try to remove savegame folder — "C:\Users\ThatsYou\AppData\LocalLow\DoMyBest\TheFinalStation".
If it's not helped, also try to delete registry keys:
With Win+R open "Run" tool, print "regedit" there and hit "Ok". In the Registry Editor in the line at the very top paste this path "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DoMyBest\TheFinalStation". On the folder "TheFinalStation" right-click and delete.
