This really pissed me off. GOG has given us the game, but not the executable for it. It may be compatible with SCUMMVM, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't get an executable. I've resorted to looking for an illegal version of the game for the purpose of getting an executable, but this really annoys me. I'm running Win2k on a VM, and I think we should have the right to run our purchased games without ScummVM. Teenagent had it's EXE, why shouldn't this?
The original executable file for The Feeble Files only worked under Windows 95/98/ME, I expect that is why it was not provided by GoG. ScummVM is the only way to run the game under Windows 2000 and later.

AdventureSoft still sells the disc version on their store and they say that:
IMPORTANT : Only runs on Windows 95 or 98.
So I'm not certain that you could run it without ScummVM as Win2K isn't one of the supported operating systems. GOG on the other hand says that their version works with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7. So it's quite clear from the description that they sell version which is ported to work on the modern computers rather than the original one. In similar manner some DOS games which they sell are ported to work on DOSBox and you can't actually run them with real MS-DOS. But then again they never claimed that you could. Personally I'm happy that I can play this game with my Win7 without using virtual machine.

I get what you're saying, although I was planning to get it running on an older machine with Windows 98 on it.
