You tried to delete or replace the intro movie files so you wouldn't have to watch them EVERY time you loaded the game, you sneaky bastard. Removing or replacing the files will cause the white texture issue. Replace/verify your files and add this to the command line instead:

EvilWithin.exe +com_skipIntroVideo 1

Galaxy doesn't support Command Line additions yet so if you want cheevos, you're stuck watching the intro.

Or you could edit the file "goggame-1171957437.info" as follows (bolded line added) to add this parameter manually in Galaxy:
