it really is shovelware, poorly optimized, UI is a mess, dungeon is bland as mashed potatoes - refund city.

It is a game that does only one thing well, but it does it perfectly : tactical combat.

Everything else is not great to terrible. There are a significant number of bugs, the game is poorly optimized with long loading time and long AI thinking game for no good reason, the UI looks great but does not give all the information you wish (chance to hit ? yes. Chance to stun ? no), the scenario has very few choices.

But the battles - oh boy. They are the best tactical battle I have seen in a fantasy setting since TOEE. You have 8 characters moving around, the enemy is smart and will punish mistakes by ganking on isolated character and crowd-controlling YOU, the "scenarios" really change from battle to battle, etc.

Also, the game is fun, but the humor is very hit or miss.
