I'm not really experienced in adventure games, only played partway through Lure of the Temptress thus far.

I just started up Chains of Satinav which I bought in the Fall Insomnia Sale and the first few scenes bombard you with names of characters in the game world, a knight, a seer and some more I forgot. And there's no journal or quest log like in an cRPG.

So my question: is it advisable to play this game with pen and paper besides your keyboard to write things down or will things happening explain themselves as you pass along? How much of your memory skills do you need? I often take 1-2 years to finish a single game and I often forget details if the games don't recapture them, so would writing stuff down be advisable?

Geron keeps diary about what you have to do and what has happened in the story so far. To access it click a book icon next to inventory.

Sure there are a lot of names at the beginning, but after a while you should be able to remember who is who (at least when it comes to important persons). Personally I didn't need to make any notes playing this game.

Thanks for the reply. So there is a journal in the game! That's nice.
