So this is a review of this game. Sadly I really feel cheated by inexile studios. This is what they spent over a year working on? This is what they spent over millions working on? Good lord this is just utter and complete crap. Total complete waste of my time and those hours that were stolen from me playing this pile of stinking poo I want back! I need to call the police and report a crime! I was expecting AT LEAST something on the level of the legend of Grimrock series but instead we get something on the level of a crap port of an old classic that was given a minor spruce up. Man total disappointment and let down. I will never support another developer pre-release because I have yet to see one actually deliver what the heck they promise. Inexile played with our nostalgia about the old Bard Tale series and fell so short its not even funny. I'd be embarassed to say I worked there and worked on this stinking mess.
If your considering purchasing this game DONT!!! STOP!!! PUT YOUR WALLET AWAY AND GO BUY SOMETHING THAT ACTUALLY HAS SOME REAL EFFORT PUT INTO IT!!!
Too hard for you, obviously--but don't sweat it. There are a plenty of Internet guides to show you how to play BTIV--assuming that's the game you are talking about. If you are nostalgic for BT1--try the BT1, BT2, and BT3 Trilogy--that sounds like a perfect fit for you. Should not be disappointed there, from what you've written.

I think BTIV is a decent game, and they are working hard on a major rewrite of the BTIV fundamentals for the next patch, so I'm looking forward to that--whenever it makes an appearance, that is...;)

No, it's not a mirror of BT1--but 30 years later, who expected it to be? Not me...;) Again, you may be much happier with the BT1,2, & 3 remasters/remakes, as those stick to the 30 year-old formula and are also quite fun to play these days.

Oh, meant to add--your post mentioned something about a "review"--would love to read it when you get it written...;)
