This is about The Bard's Tale Trilogy - Remastered.

Plowing through Skara Brae's Sewers, at some Time i realized that i want my Magician to be Elven, not Human.

I know how to hex-edit her Name, Hit-Points, Mana, Char-Level. That works fine, but not what i want.

The Race is what i want to change, but i have no Clue whatsoever, where in the saved Game THAT is.

I tried to change a few Bytes that seemed suspicious, but that either did nothing or led to a partial control-disablement.
(The game loads fine, the saved Game too, but the Mousecursor is gone and i can not use the Keys to walk around anymore)

I _could_ just make a new Character, hex-level her up, but... then i lose all the Stats she gathered in the past 40-odd
Hours of Playtime and well, it would not be the same for the other Members of my Party.
(They are all VERY paranoid of Dopplegangers...)

But that does not work for the remastered Version.
It is however pretty much precisely what i need, just for the new Version.

My only other Option so far would be to start a completely new Game :o(

My Question is about a specific modding Topic, not a general support-issue about
editing Values in a saved Game which might lead to the game misbehaving.

°smiles° Besides. I would prefer it if someone helps _here_.
It is of no Use to anyone if Information about modding is kept secret behind a "let's fix that in email" or somesuch.
Plus, Other People will probably have the same problem with changing the Class of a Character,
so they can be helped too then.
