It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Marinx: This is really awfull. I also have about 27 GB free space on my SSD where game is installed and game refuses to install. Out of space :(
I can't free space to install patch, and there is no separate patch file on GoG via browser. Do I really need to redownload whole game once again to just for this patch?
Any suggestions?
I feel your pain. I first downloaded the files to my HDD as i have very little space (4GB) on my operating systems SSD drive. But when trying to install I found the GOG installer wanted to create the temp directories on my SSD :( - so I couldn't install. Finally giving up I redownloaded via GOG galaxy. That seems to work fine.
Then I am also frustrated when I saw that GOG galaxy started to redownload the whole game again last night. Which means I have now downloaded about 75GB fof iles the game in the last week and still don't have a usable offline backup.... :(
At least I can play - but it is ridicoulous, especially for those people who might not have proper broadband. I'd hate to be in their position.
How much free Disk Space I need for the Patch?

ElZoido: I have the patch now, but don't see much improvement in performance. At least not in places like (old) Skara Brae, or the Guild. In fact I get some short hitches/stutter every once in a while now which I didn't get before, unfortunately.

OTOH, I do get solid 60fps in parts of Mangar's Tower, but I haven't been there pre-patch, so I can't compare.
This is our first update and is mostly stage-setting for future improvements. We have more cooking and you will be able to expect more significant changes in the upcoming updates we're currently working on. Hang in there!

Yeah, I figured as much.
Anyway I'm lucky that it plays well enough for me to enjoy it, but I wouldn't mind if you get it closer to a stable 60 fps on more maps. ;)
You know, it's a bit sad that you unnecessarily screwed up your launch by releasing it in this stage, instead of delaying and polishing it for a couple of weeks.
It's a fun game, imo, but that really killed your rating on Steam.
@ Eric_inXile (and Linko90)

First of all the game is great and i enjoy it a lot.

But there are a few things i would like to see improved.

- Is it somehow possible that we can get the patches at the same time as Steam users? (at least for the Galaxy-client)

- Are there plans for improving the translation? (German) For some puzzles we have to read alot and if the native
language is not English things can get annoying. Minimizing the game for looking things up in the dictionary breaks
the immersion.

- Can you give us the option to upgrade from Premium to Platin Edition. Or selling the Soundtrack as a standalone :)

- Until now the game runs stable and with 144 frames (g-sync), the only issue i do have is Microstuttering. Not always
but about 40 to 50% of the time. Are you looking into this too?

Best regards Zottel

We're hoping to minimize that delay as much as possible, but there are several moving parts involved in that process.

I know that our highest priority is to fix any bugs as a result of localization, but I can follow up on that to see if further updates are planned.

We've heard a few requests for that, and I can definitely give the thread another pull.

I haven't seen any reports of microstutters, but I'll make a note of the issue. Getting everyone running at a smoother baseline is the immediate focus as far as performance improvements go.
Thanks for the infos

[i]Hi there!
Loving this game!! Thank you for giving so much heart in the details of its creation.
I am writing this here to **bump** this question above about being able to get the soundtrack.
My husband who is not a gamer is loving the music.
I love it too and could play it all day.
How can we get the soundtrack ?
Thank so much!
