If we determine Linux will be supported we will announce it.

Khatie: If we determine Linux will be supported we will announce it.
But you did announce it, three years ago in Kickstarter update #55 where you wrote that "If you've claimed your Kickstarter Steam key, the Linux version should show up in your Linux Steam Client after you restart it. The GOG and DRM-free versions will be uploaded in about a week." (emphasis added) That's the last official announcement I could find. For anything more recent, I have to scour the Steam forum and look for references to some Reddit AMA. (So yes, I do know about those. There's no need to repeat them again.)

Perhaps now that Banner Saga 3 has been released, you could finally be arsed to properly unannounce the Linux version? You clearly still have the ability to post updates to the Kickstarter campaign, because there was one about a week ago.
Currently all three games are on sale as a bundle.
I just want to let you know that I've decided not to buy any of them for the following reasons.
1. There is a Windows/Mac/Linux version for the first game, but only Windows/Mac for the later games, indicating to me that the developers or publisher (Stoic, Versus Evil) have no intention to release Linux versions in the future.
2. No Linux build of the first game on GOG, despite promises during the kickstarter.
3. Being an arse about it and talking down on people here.

In fact I'll make sure to remember the name Stoic and Versus Evil (almost all their games on GOG are Windows/Mac) if only to make sure to not buy from you in the future.

I almost bought all the Banner Saga games and Skyshine's BEDLAM Redux! was on my wishlist as well.

Hi hollunder,

I am sorry to hear you feel our responses are anything but sincere and apologetic. The fact is, Linux work had to be halted when the 3rd party partner went out of business and support for the project was stopped on their end.

I'm sure you can appreciate that as a business, we had to make a tough decision to stop this work when we realized it was not prudent to pursue it. If that changes in the future we'll certainly let people know through social and other fan channels. I understand and respect your decision, and hope you understand and respect ours as well.

We can post updates but we cannot edit the original campaign page.
