So for the last year or so I've been beta testing the 25th Anniversary Edition for iOS and I've got to say I'm a BIG fan of the over all improvements. Years ago when T7G became available on the App Store for iOS I bought it but it was clunky and terrible to play so I barely touched it. Now here we are with a full functioning port of one of my favorite games of all time. I've got a lot of great memories of the first time I slid that CD-Rom into place. How about you? I took a little time this morning to write a little "love note" so to speak about a time when game releases used to feel a bit more special. Hope you dig the read.

Yes, back during the days when Win3.1 was king--ugh (preferred my Amigas, but games were hard to come by, unfortunately), I bought the CD version and played. It was playable as I had a powerful x86 box for the period, but still slow and clunky. Even the Scummvm version was clunky and slow on my current high-end x86. But this thing runs well scaled to 4k, and is better than it ever was--provided the 1.02 solves the problems I was having! Now awaiting the upgrade to 1.02.

Yep--starting a new game with 1.02, the former bugs seem quashed atm! Much better integrated!

Haha man that SCUMM version was suuuuper buggy and about as bad as trying to get my old ZORK Grand Inquisitor to run. Still loved it (and Z:GI for that matter Ha ha ha)
