I am stuck ! My Alien Abductor is operational and I have stopped the fan by the rec room. But no matter matter what I try I cannot get this puppy thu . For hours I have been trying this and each time as it gets to the vent, no matter what position I have it in, it just quits "abductor" mode and leaves Tex looking at the door to exit this room. fyi...my hoover controls only vary from 92 to 102 in case that means anything. Any help appreciated !!

did you stop the fan with the metal bar, if so just move the abductor into the fan. The fan in the duct should look white. tex might say " I think I can get the abductor through here" well you are in the duct just turn around. if you go through that fan it brings you back out again.

Good grief. Am I the only idiot who did not realize that I was actually looking at the back of the fan from within the duct? Jeez. Thank you sooo much for pointing that out. It never occurred to me that I would not be looking forward. Many thanks !!!

well I made that mistake many years ago & I emailed james from the tex murphy forum & was so excited to get a reply straight away. I really felt stupid at the time but I think if you landed in the duct facing the other way no-one would get confused.
