It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

I've got Vista 64, and for the first time with a GoG purchase... the damn thing simply doesn't work.
MS won't play with anything more than onscreen garbage (I can only see bits of the image in stripes) and MM simply won't run. At all. (blank screen)
There doesn't seem to be any sound either.
I don't know anything about DOSbox, but I'm assuming that messing with the settings should sort this out since other people are obviously managing to play. Does anyone know what the issue is, and what the solution might be?
Thanks in advance.

From the startmenu find the these tex murphy games and then try changing there graphical options to run in overlay mode from the graphics mode setup see if that sort it out. I would right click and run under administrator when running these games.

How do I set the overlay mode?
I'm not seeing it in any of my options

For xp its startmenu, all programs, gog, tex murphy but vista it should be under the start menu somewhere. Once you find it in the start menu it should have a graphic mode setup file so you can change it to overlay. You can also find that file in the games folder where you installed it if you can't find it in your start menu.

Main question is does that solve your problem of the games not running?
In my computer Mean Streets was having a graphics glitch (the colors where all wrong) and changing the graphic mode to overlay sorted the issue. Thanks Ralackk!

That sounds like the installer is having a hard time finding one of those .bin files that come with the installer. Do you have the installer and all the .bin files in the game folder?
