4GB RAM and GeForce GTX 660 installed, drivers updated to version 335.23. Green screen is gone and everything is working fine. Case closed - it's time to wait to May 7 in order to experience the full version.

Sor_Eddie: FYI I managed to fix the problem via uninstalling the drivers and such like other people said. Thanks to Cubase, sbenrap, and everyone else who helped!
Glad to hear it worked. BTW, one of the reasons I suggested uninstalling the drivers is exactly to get around these "the most recent driver is already installed" and "can't update existing drive" type messages. If there are no drivers installed, the installer can't complain about them :)
