how do you get him to duck down?? i'm on the roof and need to duck down..thanks.

I don't have the games installed right now, so I can't check, but I think it's CTRL (for crouching) and E for normalizing.

Go into the setup (should be available when you start the game) and verify which buttons are mapped for moving vertically.

i'm in day 7 and have this alien entity after me,its a timed event so have to be fast. anyone know if theres a map of this place ? just went through the laser field and was over come by the gas and woke up in day7. help...

the keys to get low & high are ctrl to go low & shift to go high.

no map but a few hints here, you don't have waste time playing the cd unless this is the first time you have played the game. tex murphy games are the only game out there that allows you to do things in long distance. EG the laser field can be done at long distance by putting the curser on the door or you can get half way also. too bad you have passed that section. there is a trigger that sets off the timer seems to be as soon as you pick something up, I always thought it was in the dorms but I have found going to the mess hall first also triggers it. the game allows you save throughout roswell, so save it in stages so if you get lost & waste time just load your saved game.

find the dorms get inside & get containment unit , & cd player & cd ,
go to mess hall get pick & pot , go to storage room 104 & get fuel, go back to mess hall heat fuel (only need to put on burner then take off
go to storage 102 & get spark plugs.
go round corner from room 102 to generator room fill with fuel & prime & put spark plugs in & start up,
get out of room quick & then open containment unit & combine with containment drawing & then go back into generator room & click containment unit on alien.

now relax & take your time looking around roswell .

There actually is a map if you press the Travel-button, easier access and faster if you've been running all over the hallways at least once.
