hey I keep trying to play overseer, but it keeps crashing and I have to walk across the chandelier with the dumbbell. What should I do ?

Crash at Gideon's Gallery - this problem is well-known. Go to Config menu, select Audio and switch from Microsoft GS Wavetable to Microsoft MIDI Mapper. If this option is not available to you or this doesn't help, then turn off background music (BTW, this crash is the reason why MIDI is muted by default).
