There's an issue I'm having with both the non-DVD version from Gog and the original DVD - when I get into Tex's office the graphics are flickering all over the place, and in some cases, when I click on an object I can't see the magnifying glass or the hand (to examine it or pick it up). I think other people have had the same problem - was there a solution for it? Thanks.

Try switching your graphics settings in game to 640x480. Worked for me

Sorry it took so long to respond. I tried 640x480 and it didn't help.

With regard to trying on-board graphics, I don't know how to temporarily make the switch - my graphics card is nVidia (GeForce 6200). How could I temporarily turn the nVidia graphics off?

You have to go to you bios setup when your computer is first starting and enable your onboard video there. Make sure to disable your Nvidea card in device manager in windows after you enable your on board graphics first. hope this helps.

Thanks jimhr - I started down that road and chickened out, I don't know what I'm doing in there and didn't want to risk permanently screwing up my computer for one game. I found a setting in the BIOS called something like "video chipset priority) which was currently set to AGP/Internal VGA and I changed it to just internal VGA and let it boot up. I had to move the monitor's connection in the back to the onboard video. When it spun up it was asking me to install a VGA driver and the NVidia card was not even on the device list.

Overseer crashed on open and I chickened out and set everything back the way it was.

Appreciate the suggestion though.

OK acting as a last-ditch effort, I went to NVidia's website, clicked the link for Beta/Older drivers, and chose the oldest driver they had for my GeForce 6200.

It resolved the flickery graphics issue.

I have the same problem and an NVidia Card too (GTX 650Ti) - unfortunately I have no onboard card to chose and even the oldest driver that supports my card does this flickering. Any ideas?
